- EMS Long Sleeve Jacket
For all 3 options please ensure that you remove the mask, the hat is optional.

3. Enter the garage via the elevators at the East side of the Hospital, (Behind the doors marked WARD D), and select a vehicle, for non-supervising members, select an ambulance.

4. Turn on your radio:
- If you are the only EMS on duty, or the highest ranking EMS on duty join channel 1, this is the LEO communication channel.
- If there are other EMS on duty and at least one ranks higher than you join Channel 2, this is the EMS communication channel.

5. Call in that you are 10-41 (On duty), 10-8 (Available for calls) beginning with your callsign, for example: “EMR-2 10-41, 10-8” Please read and follow our Radio Traffic Guidelines at all times, but ESPECIALLY if you are in Channel 1.

6. You may choose whether to patrol the city or remain stationed, if choose to remain stationed please do so at Pillbox Medical Center by parking your ambulance in one of the parking spots next to the main doors (on Elgin Avenue).

You are expected to remain professional at all times while on duty, that being said you are able to enter areas with a high civilian population such as the VU for the purpose of ensuring that everyone in the area is safe, but please no drinking, dancing, or otherwise unprofessional conduct while on duty.

8. Once you have completed your patrol and are ready to head off duty please park your ambulance in the garage at Pillbox Medical Center, and call into the radio that you are “10-42 (off duty), 10-7 (Not available for calls).
